Day 5 of Digital Learning Days, March 20th
Happy Friday, Students:
We are now at the end of Week 1 of Digital Learning Days! I hope this post finds you well and safe. ELA students continue to work on their assignments from the USA Test Prep site. It has been suggested by other teachers on the web, that students should make up a daily schedule for themselves to carve out time to work on school assignments. We have a lot going on in our world and it is easy to let hours and days slip away. Only you will know if a schedule will work for you.
I would like to welcome Kari'sma and Sanaya to USA Test Prep. Four students worked on this platform yesterday.
Next week, we will be moving away from USA Test Prep and we will begin our unit on The Highwayman. Stay tuned . . . this is a good one!
Now for some news about me. I "inherited" a very large John Deere lawn tractor and this week I learned how to use it. I studied the Owner's Manual and a friend showed me how to cut the grass. It is very loud and seems kind of dangerous but I think it is going to be interesting fun. I grew up on a 50 acre farm and I have used riding lawn mowers in the past . . . but never anything this large.
Please let me know how you are doing. Send me an email.
Take care and be safe,
Ms. Heller
